‘Amritpal Singh has links with ISI’, claims Punjab Police, CCTV footage of stalking surfaced

Amritpal Singh ISI Linked: Amritpal Singh, chief of Waris Punjab De, has not yet been caught by the police. Taking a major action on Saturday (March 19), the Punjab Police arrested several associates of Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh. However, Amritpal managed to escape, after which the police is looking for him. Meanwhile, a big disclosure has happened. What was being feared has proved to be true. It has been said by the Punjab Police that Amritpal has connections with the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.

Amritsar DIG Swapan Sharma claimed that he had some Pakistan-ISIS links. We were instructed to nab him (Amritpal Singh). While chasing, he came on the link road one lane ahead of us. While overtaking us, he collided with 5-6 motorcyclists, some of whom were trying to stop us from giving chase. Two cars have been recovered in Mehatpur. It is being told that funding of about Rs 30 crore has come from these numbers.

CCTV footage also surfaced

The first CCTV footage of Amritpal, who absconded on Saturday, has also come to the fore. It can be seen in the video how the Punjab Police is chasing Amritpal. It is visible in the CCTV that Amritpal’s car is going ahead. After that there is the car of Amritpal’s bodyguard and then the police car is following. While Amritpal was running away, his Mercedes was running on the road at a speed of 140 kmph. The police chased Amritpal for about 40 kilometers and also hit the bodyguard’s car, but Amritpal managed to escape.

FIR lodged against Amritpal in Amritsar

The DIG further said that we have arrested 10 people. We are probing where the money for these vehicles came from. Some phones have been recovered, they are being investigated.
